Dr. Renée S. Kohanski has extensive training in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. This gives you the option to work with her for both therapy and medication.
Or, if you prefer, she’ll work in conjunction with your current therapist.
You may download, print and fill out our patient forms prior your first appointment.

- NJ patients: in-person and Telemedicine examinations available
- CT patients: Telemedicine examinations available
- FL patients: Florida Telemedicine examinations available

Second Opinions and IMEs
Dr. Kohanski’s fellowship training in forensic psychiatry offers an additional skill set particularly well-suited for second opinions and independent medical examinations (IMEs).
Our practice is not designed to manage psychiatric conditions that require emergency care or 24/7 treatment. This is best managed by larger healthcare systems or community mental health centers that have the resources necessary to handle emergency care.
Insurance and Fees
Dr. Kohanski does not participate in any health insurance plans or Medicare. Ours is considered an “out of network” practice.
